Length of stay is on a case by case basis. We have four Phases of Stay and each resident must apply for continuation of stay once they have reached the end of their respective phase.
Lennon House follows a Zero Tolerance Policy for alcohol, drugs, and gambling. Residents in possession of or under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs will self-discharge. Residents are expected to:
- Focus on their own recovery while at Lennon House and not engage in relationships other than supportive recovery friendships.
- Attend all mandatory programs and meetings on time and participate.
- Be responsible for and complete daily assigned chores.
- Attend four 12-Step meetings per week.
- Maintain the cleanliness of their room and communal areas. Residents are also responsible for their own laundry.
- Meet with their Case Worker a minimum of once per week to develop and implement an ongoing Case Plan.
- Respect other residents as well as staff by speaking and behaving in an appropriate and mature manner.
- Adhere to all other policies procedures as outlined in their contract.
Mandatory daily programming is scheduled Monday through Thursday from 8:15am – 3pm. Friday programming runs from 8:15am-12pm. There is no programming on weekends. Some groups are co-ed and others are specific to males and females.
All resident meals are served in the dining room at 8am, 12pm and 5pm and residents dine together.
Lennon House is a non-smoking establishment and smoking is only permitted in the outdoor designated area. You are allowed to bring your cell phone but it is understood that usage will be limited to times when you are not in group sessions.
Lennon House is a secure building that is supervised 24 hours, 7 days a week. There is a male floor and female floor as well as enhanced security.
If you are male, you will share a double occupancy room with one other resident until a single room becomes available, based on who has the earliest admission date. There are no female double occupancy rooms, only single rooms.
Each room contains a bed, armoire and/or dresser.

Currently we are offering the following programs at Lennon House:
Seeking Safety, DBT Skills, SMART Recovery Tools, CBT Skills, Living in Balance, Mindfulness, Spiritual Guidance and Acupuncture. We also offer one in-house 12-Step meeting per week as well as transportation to 12-Step Meetings in the community every day of the week.
We do allow visitors but visits from outside guests are strictly monitored. Residents must obtain approval through the proper channels for a visit with outside guests.
Absolutely. At Lennon House we offer transportation services to you at no cost for your professional appointments to support your recovery. Professional supports also frequently come to Lennon House for resident appointments as well.
Residents are not eligible to work while at Lennon House until they are transitioning out of Lennon House and following through with their exit plan.
Transitional Housing is an intermediate step between Residential housing and permanent housing and assists individuals to move toward greater autonomy and self sufficiency.
Applications for the Transitional Housing Program are internal and not open to the public.
